The cat’s out of the bag, and while you might feel a bit confused, we hope that a spark of excitement to dance together again is whispering to you that everything is just as it should be. And your instincts are right.
We believe everything should make sense, flow naturally, and be approached in a playful way so that the process is as fun as the result. Words are the tool connecting new ideas to the concept, and by now, you may already have a clear picture of ours. Let’s be honest—who names their party "Saturday Club*"?
Well, we do. Because it’s not about having the coolest name for your night, it’s about everything else. To celebrate one year of Saturday Club*, we want to give you something special. You deserve it for all the dancing, reading, and belief in us. From now on, our intimate rave will evolve into two raves. Saturday Club* will return to Spanners next year in its usual form, with the two of us playing all night long. But once a year, to celebrate, we’ll bring you Friday Club* 🫣.
We’ve chosen Ormside Projects for this, sharing the same ethos as Spanners but with more space. This allows Potential Difference to expand their light magic, and with extra room on the dance floor, there’s also more room in the DJ booth—for a Secret Guest!
Oh yes, did you think we didn’t have someone special to share the booth with? Of course, we do. And of course, it’s a secret because the name doesn’t matter anyway. We’re happy to embrace your expectations. It’s a celebration, after all, and a good one is always full of surprises. We hope you’ll love this first one.
